Mark Schweder is a Certified Industrial Hygienist with over 18 years of field and management experience. His areas of expertise include classical industrial hygiene, indoor air quality (IEQ), field and laboratory methods and analysis and support for hospital construction infection control management projects. Mark has conducted hundreds of air quality investigations related to occupational and environmental exposures and routinely performs exposure and risk assessments for chemical, physical, and biological hazards. He has developed quality assurance programs, operations and maintenance programs, health and safety plans, and construction infection control design documents and project specifications. Mark earned his MSPH is from the University of South Carolina and his BS in Environmental Health Science is from the University of Georgia.
Alex Brown is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and Certified Safety Professional with six years of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) experience. Supporting remediation, production, construction, D&D, academic research, and hospital construction infection control projects, he has experience performing field risk assessments and recommending control strategies for a wide variety of chemical, physical and biological agents. Alex has published peer-reviewed papers addressing air quality from an industrial and public health perspective, and develops and maintains a wide variety of EHS programs, ranging from asbestos and lead compliance to respiratory protection and workforce characterization. He also specializes in modeling and exposure reconstruction. Alex earned his MSPH from the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and his BS Environmental Health from Bowling Green.
